Imaginative use of semi-dry cast stone

Imaginative use of semi-dry cast stone throughout this commercial build enabled the end client to produce a state of the art equestrian facility.

Cast Stone was used for various applications throughout the build including a ground breaking horse walker which is one of the best in Europe. Facilities at the stables where cast stone was used include feeding troughs; water troughs; indoor school and tack rooms; equestrian solariums along with indoor and outdoor dressage arenas.

More specifically cast stone was used for wall copings; internal and external window surrounds; column bases; column capitals; door surrounds; bay windows and a custom design portico which was specially designed to obscure any visible structural steel.

The portico features a cast stone roof and soffit all designed by Procter so that the cast stone can be seen from the underside of the roof as well as the external fašade.
